“Paradise of Birds” is a design project about our forests and the existence of European birds. Some of them are nearly extinct. Others are still fighting against the climate crises humanity induced. But most of the time we forget, that in all our lives the beauty of nature and the sound of chirping birds is so scares and intense, still essential for our existence. In order of the project I designed a book about the rarest and most beautiful birds. All based on an intense research with an ornithologist in the forests. Therefor I used different printing techniques like lino cut and screen printing. Some other elements I've created are drawn with ink. The beauty of nature is something lifesaving and wonderful. Let's save it, while there is still time left!
